I have been wanting to build a 20-222 rem rifle for close range varmints. I have had many 221 fireballs over the years which I no longer have. I currently have a couple custom 223's set up for shooting heavy bullets. I was originally thinking of building a 20 vartarg or to do a fireball again. But with both of those cartridges you are limited on rifle options if you want consistent feeding and ejection. Those issues are what is pushing me towards a 20-222. Its similar to those smaller rounds but should feed reliably in regular .223 based rifles. I'm looking for a reamer or a gunsmith that has a reamer?
