I wonder how fragmentation factors into what you mentioned and as a factor in incapacitation?

Each fragment has it's own wound channel that contributes to the tissue damage.

152's @ 2080 FPS (3400 FPS @ muzzle)
(My back-yard range limits me to 600 yards, so that's my personal limit on game as well.). I'll finish my load development and then verify.

That video is a load of bs, or at least the idea that a 50 bmg creates a vaccuum behind the bullet sufficient to suck the contents of something's head out even if it technically misses. The fact that we can shoot at empty cans with high powered rifles and the vacuum doesn't send them flying on near misses plainly proves that this is nonsense pure and simple. He shot it through the eyes.

That is what I thought too. The part that bothers me is it sounded like he used that doe as an experiment. No mention of using the meat or nothing......just to say he killed it with a 50 BMG.
I just can't see any honor in that kill.... Maybe I'm missing something. IDK
