Rebarrel a Christensen or sell?

I had a Bergara 300wm that I sold a few months ago because I couldn't find ammo and it cost too much when I did. So I bought a Christensen arms mesa 308win because the rifle was available and I could find ammo everywhere and it didn't break the bank to shoot. My dilemma now is that the Christensen won't group under 4+ inches with any factory ammo I put through it. I have been a dedicated Bergara owner and was hesitant going with a Christensen and now I am debating on if I should sell the rifle and be done with it and go back to a Bergara or get the Christensen rebarreled. Any thoughts?

How many rounds do you have through the .308 Win? Those should last thousands of rounds. You might have something else going on.

Pull the action out of the stock, put it back in and re-torque to factory specs. I have a feeling that will help.

I've pulled it all apart, checked everything and re-torqued the action and scope rings. I've checked all the clearances and the spot bedding and haven't been able to find anything yet. I've shot everything from Barnes, Nosler, Hornady, Federal and Sierra from 150gr to 180gr and nothing will go under 4" at 100 yds.

It could be the scope went bad.

I wondered that as well. I put a brand new Vortex Venom on it the day I got the rifle. Haven't noticed anything with the scope that I can tell.

Haven't tried another scope. I've got about 150 rounds through it so far

You need to try a different scope if you can. New scopes can be bad, unfortunately.

They do, but I've got a Mule deer, Elk and Lion hunt starting beginning of October and last I heard their turn around time is several months right now.

4"... you need to put glass on it your confident in and confirm. Vortex is meh... I have plenty of experience, not bashing.. I've come to the conclusion of razor or pass... Doubt you can sell a rifle to another dude that's good with 4 moa groups at 100.....

Vortex don't like to be torqued over 13 inch pounds. I've argued with vortex for friends, each time it's been a vortex issue. Scopes always went back and had some issue resolved. Definitely mount a different scope, that's currently going to give you the fastest explanation.
