Kill the wolf?

In probably 80% of all cases, a canine will chase and take down anything that runs from it, your favorite porch pooch included. A few years ago, we had a group of neighborhood dogs that packed up and started terrorizing the area. Luckily, one morning as my son (then about 4), my wife and I got ready to hit the road to go to daycare and work (we worked together at the time), I went outside to crank the truck so it would warm up. I walked outside and noticed the pack at the woods edge about 30 yards away. I just ignored them and walked out to the truck. As soon as I cleared the porch, they all 4 showed their teeth and came at me on a dead run ! Flight or fight kicked in and I had a flash of anger that these dogs dared to charge me in my own yard . I spun around to face them, hollered at the top of my lungs and ran straight at them. They freaked out and almost turned a flip to swap ends and leave the crazy dudes yard !
I still get cold chills when I think what would have happened if the wife or son had walked outside that morning before I did. Those dogs vanished one by one over the next couple weeks. Canines will chase and attack for sport, period.

Had simular happen...my son was 5 and a new pup yellow lab down playing in our trees....german Shepard and Rottweiler came running into yard and down into the trees right at my son and pup....luckily I was outside and had just enough time to get a hold of a chunk of firewood and beat those dogs to the kid.....i smashed the firewood into the Shepard as hard as i could...and screamed at them to get....
They didn't leave willing...but the Shepard wasn't feeling so good....
He backed off and the rot did the same....when they were gone I got my keys and went looking for them....found them back on a porch down the road......i rapped my knuckles on that door...when they answered I told them where their dogs had been and if anything would have happened to my son I would have killed all four of them......i dont think they believed me.....................people not taking care of their animals is ridiculous.......look at all the pets released on the streets these days.......and they want to tell us to let wolves alone.....
I say they can **** off........

I bet your dog doesn't chase animals for fun either. Dogs chase animals because they are starving, therefore anyone who owns a dog must be charged with cruelty to animals if their animal chases something....there can be no other reason for it. After all, why would a tame dog chase an animal for fun but a wolf would not?
You really need to read a book called "Alaska Wolf Man", by Jim Rearden. It is very informative and educational about a man that lived with wolves for 40 years. They kill for reasons other than hunger. Good read for anyone on this thread.

I bet it would shock you guys how many of the pro wolf people here are paid trolls. The commies (Soros et al) pay people to go on Internet forums and push leftist talking points.
I saw that on a sports forum right before the last election. professional debaters suddenly showed up with polished talking points and worked in groups to gangup and drive off any hunters/gun owners/conservatives. Soros and Bloomberg have deep pockets and fund the antis.

I say they can *Rule 4 Violation* off........
I had something similar happen.

Yep! And, of course, we know how to manage wildlife better than God does, despite not knowing anything about tropic pyramids, replacement-level reproduction, or carrying capacity.

In fact, I think we should also start managing Killer Whales. 1. They eat a lot of salmon which are in decline and we "need" for food. 2. They prey on whales which are endangered. 3. They kill sharks which are also in decline and are cool. 4. They are often called "wolves of the sea". Let's hunt them.

Personally , I agree with you on managing Orcas ( Killer Whales ) .
I can already see BIG-money fishing tournaments for them .
You would need specialized equipment to handle them . Penn would need to have a larger reel than their International 130 , maybe enlarge to a 200 series , loaded with 2000 yards of 600# test micro-braid line , and for bait ---- use a live Sea lion pup about 50 - 75 pound size ,being trolled behind the boat .
Talk about a sight to behold when a 6 to 8 TON Orca would strike the live-bait Sea lion pup , and fly 20 feet or more above the water .
Video of that would definitely be shown on ESPN Sports news nightly .

Just my opinion ,

Dog's:

More than once I and other's that hunted together with came across dead deer in one of the areas we hunted in. More than a mile from the closest home in the area. The deer were left dead without being eaten. The people were letting their dogs run. So we change our hunting ways in that area. We would never shot anything that wasn't a deer in the areas we hunted in. The others knew that there was a deer down and come in to help to get the deer back to the trucks. Being we would split up and go in different directions.

Well that ended, dogs became a top item on the list to shoot no matter what else was happening. The dogs were taken out and deer population also came back in that area too. Now if I catch dogs running loose no matter in which state I hunt in now, they become the top item of the day.

Now in Montana with the biggest dogs. The standing saying is: Got your wolf tag. No I got a box of 20. Because the Wolfs have drop the game population down and just about wipe then out.

Just this last week a wolf was hit by a car less then 2 miles from post falls idaho.

fish and game has not released a statement, haven't seen any news on this from the Cda press.

wolves have finally made it to the low land - I imagine news will hit Facebook quick when one of the wolves plucks a couple pets!
