g1 is listed .679 and g7 is listed .347 I am coming up with .542 bearing surface using a comparitor bushing that I matched to my throat

Quite a long bearing surface, everything else looks great. I wouldn't expect top velocity out this particular bullet though. It would be a great bullet for a 6.5 SST case with it's long 1.512" length and certainly should perform well.

I just got some in and loaded one in my sst. It hits the lands about 2.900" so the SS would be about 2.950" and sit up in the neck about . 030"
G7 BC is .347, OAL 1.512", BL .536".

Long bearing surface or not, the reports I've read so far are promising in accuracy and velocity. .260AI hitting 2975 with a 28" barrel at pressure. 6.5 PRC's running up to 3015 in 24" barrels below pressures.

Compared to the 140 elite hunters, they are long, I was somewhat concerned as well. But then I compare the bearing surface to the 147 eldm, and it seems rather short ha ha!! Also, it seems to take up slightly less powder capacity seated at the same cbto compared to the 147 eld-m, and from what I have seen in one gun, is only loosing 50ish fps to the 147.
Can't wait to see what rl26 in a creed does, and equally excited to test them out in a 7.5 twist .264 wm!!

That is encouraging. I don't know how it flies, (accuracy and wind) I will patiently await. Can't shoot 'em in an AR gas gun for performance, but bolt gun accuracy would be interesting.
Just did some testing of the 156 EOL's using Reloader 26 with my 6.5x284Norma, 26" barrel,1:8 , with a .188" free-bore. My testing was performed with the bullet seated .020" off the lands which placed the base of the bullet at the juncture of where the shoulder taper meets the case body, enabling me to use near full capacity of the case....pleasant surprise. I used 2-3x fired Lapua bras, FL sized with a .291" bushing, Fed 210M primers, COAL was 3.210", an easy fit in my magazines. I ran a charge weight ladder at 100 yards starting at 53gr and ending at 55.5, in .5gr increments. See attached. It was quite windy, otherwise the entire group would likely have been contained in a .5MOA cluster. I also loaded 5 rounds each at 53.5gr/2960FPS/ES 5, and 54.5gr/3011FPS/ES13. Groups were .5MOA for both. . I expect the groups would have been better without the wind, otherwise I might do some seating depth tests, and or fine tuning of the charge weights. I will like likely settle on the 54.5gr charge at 3011FPS. While bolt lift was OK at my max charge of 55.5gr,/3050FPS, I did have slight ejector marks, and some cratering of the primer. Overall, the 156 seems to be an easy bullet to work with. I will be anxious to see how these bullets perform on game.
