Just had an interest in 1 of those in the past few years. with the aid in better BC bullets im suprised its not being used here more often.

it can still reach decent speeds close to the 338-300 or 338 lapua. I know the cheytac and weatherby cases are more looked upon but for a standard rem 700 or savage action build up this could be a awsome long range elk gun!

anyone out there shooting one and got results?

I just ordered a Krieger they had in stock last week. I'm having them turn it 1.350" for 5.5" and then straight taper to 1.1" at 28" 10" twist. I also have a Stiller TAC338 on order. It will be a .375-338 Lapua Imp. I intend to shoot the 300-330gr Cutting Edge bullets.

I also ordered a .416 barrel last week to try out the 340gr CEB in a .416RUM.
