Whats your longest rimfire kill?

One of the guys that I go p-dogging with got one at confirmed 304yds with my 10/22 and subsonic match hollow point ammo. I won't know how many rounds he fired to get that one, but if it was like the rest of our endeavors, it was a "few".:D

300 yds for me with savage 17 HMR with cabelas scope that came on it. I love that rifle almost as much as I like my 17 Fireball.

Groundhog, Savage 93R17 with heavy barrel and Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 Ballistaplex reticle, 20gr Gamepoint HMR, lasered at 417 yards. It took 6 shots to walk in for the wind, but connected with a neck shot. The groundhog went 20 yards before expiring. Bullet was recovered just under skin with minimal expansion (tip gone, hp opened up, but widest diameter was still .177. I will never try it again, I have a .223 now for anything beyond 100, and am working on a 7mm-08.

Got a prairie dog at 283 with my Cooper .17 HMR a couple months ago. I was able to shoot all winter out on the Utah desert. Got a few marmots last year out around the 270 yard mark with the .17, and 170 with the .22 LR.

Not much going for the .22 Magnum here, but my best hunting buddy Tim and I have been wreaking havoc on critters using my Savage 93G .22 WMR with a Bushnell 4-12X40 AO for a few years now.

I believe the longest shots go-
5. Coyote, 135 yards, chest shot, 34 grain Winchester Supreme HP
4. Blackbird, 140 yards, headshot- 33 grain Remington Accutip
3. Fox, 140 yards, broadside lungshot- 33 grain Remington Accutip
2. Coyote, 160 yards, chest shot- 40 grain Winchester JHP
1. Coyote, 180 yards, broadside lungshot, 30 grain CCI TNT in a 25 MPH wind!!!

#5,#4, and #2 were all instant kills, #3 ran 20 yards, and #1 ran 200 yards.

Admittedly the CCI 30 grain is not a coyote load, but the coyote was attacking Tim's dog at the time.

For now my longest kill with my 17hmr is a hog at 100yard shoot him right by the ear watch him drop:) in scope first shot with honedy 20gr. With my custom ruger 77/17 with nikon 3-9x40 scope

180yard crow and 210 yard red ffox with my savage 93r17gv. last year a luck shot at 240 on a squirrel with an old marlin model60 22lr. i had been going to the same spot shooting at a nice chunk of sandstone just for fun to blow off steam and went out to go shoot it one day after work. right as i was compensating for drop and drift glanced at the rock and a nice sized squirrel was sitting right on top of it lol. needless to say i had squirrel biscuits and gravy the next morning for breakfast lolgun)

About 10 years my dad dropped a coyote with a 10-22 at about 110yds on a run. He was decent size at about 35lbs. I shot a few rock chuck at 140yds with my BRNO #1 with a super high quality 3x9 center point mill dot scope.

Rabbit at 167 meters with my CZ452. 22 using Eley HV off the bipod. Warm dry day, no wind, at 100meters elevation.
Some of the shots you guys are doing are giving me a bit of a complex!

I got a crow at 121 yards in the neck with my dads friend 22Lr, neighbour got coyote at 107 yards with a 22Lr and I got another crow at 191 yards with a 17hmr

276 yards, crow with a modded 10/22 aquilia 40 grain solid. Well when I say modded I mean it was a CF barrel, trigger, stock etc . Actually surprised myself and spotter.
