What is the Typical Distance Range You Kill Big Game At?

I am asking what is more typical for you?

#1 Under 350 Yards?

#2 350-500 Yards?

#3 500-650 Yards?

#4 650-800 Yards?

My brother always laughs at me. Spending money on rifles and scopes and getting out to shoot and try and do my best to develop accurate loads and etc etc. Then my shots are usually well under 350 yards. Well it's all fun, so I guess I get the last laugh.

Good questions, but... it's really caliber-specific in most cases, I sure wouldn't use my M94 .30 WCF for the same game I hunt with my LR-type hunting rifles like; Elk and Mule Deer. Not that; if they were in the range I couldn't take them with the M94. So the typical distance must be caliber specific. That's why I picked 500 to 650 yards... with a heavy-hitting long-range cartridge and "well under" 350 yards with a rifle like a .30 WCF. Just my 0.2 Cheers

350-500 is where I like to think I am.....but if I averaged all my big game kills it would probably be under 200 yards.

Deer have been 500+ lately
For awhile elk were 650-900 but the last few years it's been more like 300 (or 30 yards in the case of my archery bull this year).
I'm no help just rambling..
