What is the hardest big game tag that you were able draw?

I recently drew a big horn sheep tag in my home state of South Dakota. As you can imagine, I feel like the luckiest guy on the planet. I was just wondering what other difficult tags members on the forum have drawn? It took me 14 years to pull this tag. What say you?

Well apparently in WA it's a limited quota mule deer tag. I'm 24 years in and still no tag (resident). I'll probably draw the OIL moose, goat or sheep before that

I have 30 years on an elk tag....start to wonder if I'll be able to do it if the time comes....

I have 30 years on an elk tag....start to wonder if I'll be able to do it if the time comes....

Washington is a sad place for hunters. Residents and non res alike. Even mediocre tags are extremely low odds. I think my best chance this year is 11% on an elk tag with 11 points. The premier units are some like .5% odds

Bull Elk tag in Sargent Management area in unit 4 Chama, NM. I think there were only 5 non resident bull tags for the split we hunted (partner and I applied on same app and were drawn). That was in 1998 ???

Guess this would be the easiest tag to date, only seven years.

Have 15 years for a quality deer and 25 for moose and sheep. Better draw soon, I'm start'n to fossilize
