Hornady monoflex bullets in 45 caliber. Couldn't get them to fly minute-of-paper regardless of powder/powder charge.

I will play: TC Shockwave bullet. Acted more like FMJ. Even at relatively close range of 40 yards.
For some reason I don't hate powder. When I pop those tops and get a big wiff, its therapeutic
Here's one that ain't worth a Sh@% for anything, but you need some years on you to even know what they are..

Speer Grand Slam. Back in the day I heard how great they were on game. I'll never know since when I was doing load development I could swear I was shooting buckshot.

Hornady made a great bullet, the interlock. Then they had to screw with it to improve it.

Early hornady dgx. At the time they were significantly cheaper than partitions and shot shockingly well in the accuracy department. On game use they acted like an fmj, or at least the first few did. Eventually got about 100 milk jugs and decided to test a pile of them. 3 of 10 did exquisite almost textbook mushrooms, others held together so good you could probably re shoot them. Found they reliably opened 3/8 mild steel and thicker but it was roulette in anything less. We don't have a lot of up armored bears so it was back to partitions.
Maybe the new ones are better, but I've been burned enough I'll never try....
