Was in the local gun store not too long ago just before the season started and some transplant came in with a rifle he bought the year before and asked if they could rebore sight it for him. The guy at the counter obliged him and told him that he didn't really have to make but a couple clicks because it was already darn close, to which the man replied "well I hope that does it because last season didn't go so well cuz I couldn't hit anything I shot at last year". I couldn't help myself and asked the man at what distance he was zeroing the rifle, he looked at me with a blank stare and asked what I meant. I explained that just bore sighting is only meant to get you on paper 25-50 yards and you have to fine tune from there, to which he replied "well nobody here told me that when I bought the rifle".
