Maybe some of you guys can answer my question? I want to try and stick with a 120 in a 6.5 Creedmoor for coyotes, varmints. I've only shot bigger caliber Match bullets and they just zinged through ala FMJ. Not saving fur, just unnecessary pain/misery for Wiley!

I used a 147 grain ELDM. Hit it in the neck. Fell like a sack of potatoes. Didn't flinch once.

My vote would be the 120 grain ballistic tip also. This is a proven performer @ lower velocities (1400 to 1800) and upwards of 3200 ft/sec. I have also used the 123 grain ELD's and the SST's but preferred the 120's. Use which everyone that shoots the best in your rifle.

As has been said the Sierra 100 gr HP is a bomb. I ran it 3000 fps out of my 6.5x55 on some ground hogs and it red mist and scattered pieces. It was VERY ACCURATE.
