I apolgize if this has been brought up previously, but I just saw this in my Colorado Regs as I go through the "legal methods of take" segment. "Smart rifles are prohibited, including any firearm equipped with a target tracking system, electronically controlled, assisted or computer linked trigger or a ballistic computer. Any firearm equipped with a scope containing a computer processor is considered to be a smart rifle."

Sig Sauer's BDX system comes to mind, and any other type of scope with a built in rangefinder adjustment, right? Burris Eliminator Lazerscope, etc.

It will be interesting to watch how this type of regulation progresses throughout the west.

Over the years we've seen everything from banning lasers, nebulous illumination laws, definition of "muzzle loaders" all the way to draw letoff restrictions. Some stick some don't, this one does seem to follow the same lineage.
