Hello to everyone. I hope all are doing well! I want to introduce myself to your site/group. I have shooting experience from years gone by. Due to circumstances beyond my control I've been out of the shooting/hunting environment for a few years. I am starting to get back into it now. I'm trying to setup my recent acquisition. It is a Aero Precision SOLUS Competition Win .308 with a 20" M24 style barrel. So, with that being said, I will be looking for any assistance and advice on a good (Budget Friendly) scope for it. Thanks in advance and it's nice to meet you all.

Welcome to LRH, and enjoy!

When you post about your quest for a budget- friendly scope make sure you provide all the pertinent information to yield best results, for instance, budget, magnification range, 1" vs. 30 MM, SFP vs. FFP, reticle, weight goal, illum vs. non-illum, etc.

Welcome!
Check out the classifieds...folks go through scopes like socks around here. Bigger, better, blah, blah. We all have our preferences. When you find what your budget allows, do the google thing and look up the goods and bads.

As this is more of a target/tactical platform, something with turrets is prolly where I would look, but to each their own.

Everyone's idea of budget friendly is different. That being said on the low end I've heard great things about the Arken EP5. The Athelon Midas Tac would be a good option. And I really like the Burris XTR scopes
