Scope that won't break on 300 win mag

I have a Savage in 300 win mag that absolutely eats scopes. I've blew up 4 scopes . 2 Bushnell and 2 Vortex . They have all be warranted . I usually miss something before I know the scope is junk. I have a DNZ Game Reaper mount . I'm not looking to break the bank here . $500 -$600 is my budget . Any ideas ??? Thanks.

I'm not a fan of those two scope companies. Nightforce will do just fine

But be warned at those prices you get what you pay for. Buy a used NF...

My 300 win mag has ruined 3 scopes. I agree that getting a more expensive scope than $500 is the real solution. Strapping your gun into a lead sled or similar is also going to enhance the problem.

A 3x15swfa is the only thing I know of that will not break at that price point. Save some money and get a used Razor Vortex or upgrade the broken vortex by calling and inquiring what it will take to do that

Nothing wrong with either of the companies you are currently using the problem is your price point.
That putting you in the cheap end of the scope lines. Check out a used nightforce as above. Also check out optics planet. They had the Burris verocity for just over $600 a few months back but haven't checked on it in a while.

My buddy has a Vortex Viper on a 300 ultra mag never a problem. I've been through 2 Vortex Viper HS . I really don't blow them up they just don't hold zero . Also I do shoot out of a lead sled but I don't use any weight just the rest.

Also I do shoot out of a lead sled but I don't use any weight just the rest.

Lead sleds result in many damaged scopes, rings, gun stocks, etc. A lead sled makes shooting multiple shots from a 300 win mag less punishing but you will have to accept that it will put extra stress on your gun and scope.

Learned that the hard way... a good break did more than the lead sled for me.

Have another vx3i on my 338 edge. That has some recoil (300gr Berger@2790). Working well with about 250 shots.
