I think there are two causes that are most likely. The first being what Shortgrass mentioned with the trigger. The other is something caught in the bolt lug, possibly as a result of cleaning. Someone mentioned the front screw which can easily push a piece of ?? into the action and lock it up. I have done this when I gotten careless bedding an action.......rich
