I been using the first gen G7BR2 on recent hunts .. 1st let me say it works well but heavier then expected. Im thinking I should go lighter and been researching the 1600-b from Leica.

Can anyone give me any 1st hand reviews on the 1600-b

I really like my 1600 b I've ranged leafy trees or a house out to 1640 yards and cows out to 1300 or so.

Of course it depends on what your particular ranging requirements are, and whether you use all the capabilities of the g7. Having used both units, the g7's ranging features and on board ballistics capabilities, IMO are superior, and put it in a class of its own. The Leica is a good unit, but after experiencing how well the g7 performs I could not go back to the Leica for my LRH.
