Wild Rangefinder question.

I just got a Wild Rangefinder, it didn't come with the lathe board, but I believe I have it calibrated pretty well. My ranges seem good for just learning how to use it, but the inserted image seems a little bit canted to me. For example, a telephone pole won't extend straight up in the inserted image, or if I range the corner of a shed then it will seem to be sloping.

Is there any way to fix this? I'm concerned that if what I want to range isn't in the exact middle of the window, that the cant would screw up my readings.

I can try try to take a picture to explain the problem if that would help anyone.

Thanks,
Tyler

Totally my error. When I clamped down the rangefinder, it tilted a bit. I'm gonna see if I can't have someone make me a mount for a normal tripod.
