Press broke

I bought an RCBS press when I was twenty-six years old. The hanle portion broke the other day. How longis the warentee?

Call RCBS up they will either fix it replace it or might send you a different new one if they now longer make the press

I think they changed the handle threads in about 1975 or so.

Your info is very incouraging. I will give them a call on Monday.

A few weeks ago I was teaching my son-in-law to reload. The handle fell out. After carefullly inspecting it I realized it broke off at the threads. I continued to use it until a couple days ago. With less holding the rod, there was more leverage on the cammer and the rod broke out a chunk; rendering the press useless.
