picked up a rem 700 Varmint

picked up a 700 in 22-250, heavy barreled, so-so stock
has 16 x 56 Hakko Optics scope,30mm tube nice tri-post cross hair with lighted X ring in middle of the reticule
lighted green or red,nice in low light

1:14 twist..so what should I expect?
what bullet?
already settled on varget powder

35.5 benchmark; 50 balistic tip; 0.030 off .

Mine shoots the 50 grain Z-Max extremely well with RL15. Every 22-250 I've ever shot would shoot a 55 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip in front of 35.0 grains of Varget less than 1 MOA.

Here's 10 shots with RL15 and the Z max at 100 yards.

I used 40gn Ballistic Tips ahead of 36.0gn of Varget and Remington 9.5M primers. This load was sub 1/4" in my Remington VS.
My go to load for this rifle, however, was the 52gn Sierra HPBT Match in front of 35.5gn of IMR4895, lit by the CCI BR2. OAL (base-ogive): 2.1245". JohnnyK.
