Ok I am not a big fan of the 6.5 Creedmore

Bunch a wet hens in here... Who cares if you don't like the 6.5 CM? I bought one in REM PCR. It's by far and away the most accurate out of box gun I have. The 6.5 CM is unarguably has a high BC bullet, flat shooting with low recoil. What exactly is not to like, but if you don't, why do you think anyone cares???

Would I take it elk hunting and leave my 300 RUM in the safe? Ahhhh, no! If you want to shoot elk with it, hey go for it...

I don't like it. I understand with how common suppressor ownership is becoming the desire for short barrels. A creedmoor is optimal in a 24 inch barrel. It does well from a 22 inch barrel. In an 18 inch barrel a 308 or 7mm-08 would likely outperform it. I like having a cartridge matched to the job. I did see a fieldcraft in 6.8 SPC on a mini action with an 18 inch barrel that I did like.....a lot.
Florida is a jungle, a 24 inch barrel would be in the way for him.

That is fake news. The 270 with the same weight bullet still beats the creed to 500, and if the barrel twist rate on the 270 was faster than 1-10 and was able to hurl bullets of the same bc , the creed would really take a back seat to the old win. This is just from Thumbing through Ballistics tables. For the record I prefer a 6.5 swede and the 280 rem.thats all i have to say about that ( gump voice)

I'd like to know why there isn't a
I'd liken to understand the fanatics but the 6.5 creed does nothing great however it does alot of things well. It's by far and away not the most accurate cartridge out there, nor does it carry an abundance of energy for elr hunting. On the pro side of things it feeds extremely well out of a short action magazine with higher bc bullets and is pleasant to shoot without a brake in a light rifle. If I shot in the prs series I'd seriously think about shooting a 6 creed.

I'm still trying to understand the reason that the 6.5-06 doesn't have a better following than that of the 6.5 Creed more!!?????o_Oo_O This is one cartridge that seems to have fallen out of grace or something. This round probably will be my next build.

The cartridge police bro....the cartridge police. They are everywhere. They are the liberal progressive of the shooting sports...like ballistic socialists they lurk everywhere waiting to pounce on their next victim.
Actually, I would say that the 6.5CM supporters are more of the liberal progressives...

They are newer (18 to mid-20's). They all believe anything you tell them about it without facts or proof, no matter how outrageous it sounds. They refuse to believe anything that an outsider tells them about it (the truth). They chant and hold rallies and try to silence any naysayers. They worship it. And anyone who doesn't like it and refutes their falsities with actual facts sends them spiraling into a safe space to go paint, and use coloring books, and have a good cry.

With so many people dead set against it I might end up with one?
I still think it's pretty cool and has more pluses than minuses!
I would say the odds are more the other way around. Seems more are for it, than against it.

The 6.5 Creedmoor has apparently become the bastard child like the 270 Whiner is. I'm personally a 7mm Big Magnum and 30 Magnum guy, but my my cadre of 6.5 Creedmoor's and the offspring from the parent case are legitimate.
