I will try to remember all the questions. The barrel twist is 8. The length is 28 inches. You need to use a long action with the bergers or the accubond. I think the col was 3.120. I was shooting them .007 off the lands. That was just a number I picked to make an even number. I think it measured 3.127 so I just backed it up to 3.120. The velocity was 2989 on accubonds. Dan

Well I have gotten in some hunting. Between me and my customers we have shot deer at 120yds, 210yds, 355yds, and 1066yds. All the deer have dropped in there tracks. Yesterday I was invited down to South Carolina by one of my good customers to do some L R. We set up on my Kubota rtv and in 10 minutes we has a deer out in the lane. I ranged it at 1066yds. Loaded all the info in my app. the Applied Ballistics program gave me a dial up of 23.6 moa. Dialed up and waited for her to turn broadside. She did and I pulled the trigger. BANG FLOP!!!!. I watched her fall. Not even a leg kick. We watched her just to make sure she didn't get up. I have to say a big THANKS to my friend Chris Scott for the invite. After the year I have had this was a big lift for me. I am still in disbelieve that I was able make this shot. Dan

I just picked up 2 boxes. Doing some bedding this weekend then will see how they do out of the STW

First 3 shots out of the STW and zero load development. Berger 180's shoot 3/4" at 200, this LR group is just under .600" at 200 yards.

Thanks for sharing. I've had excellent accuracy with the 210 ALRs as well. Consistent 1/2 to sub 1/2 MOA out of a factory 300WM Sendero bedded in a McMillan stock. Every bit as accurate as the 208 Amax. I only had to adjust .5 grain to match the velocity.

I was able to find 4 boxes of 100 of these ablr 175s and hope to be trying some load development with a few more pay checks. Good to see they are working for someone. I picked up just one box so far, but will be going back if they work like they did for you.

The 150 gr ABLR's were quite impressive out of my 280AI. MV is 3100 fps and .5 MOA accuracy.
They produced DRT kills on some crop damage WT deer this past summer. Here is the first kill with the 7mm 150 gr ABLR. 275 yds. Notice the beans still in her mouth!

I think the 150 gr ABLR is just about perfect for my requirements. I'm sure the 175 gr ABLR would work well for me but I don't think I would get enough speed out of the 280AI case.

Good job guys, and some great shooting! I'm not surprised that they perform on deer after the testing (minimal) that I did this summer. They expand better than anything I have seen out there. The only knock was, they appeared to be a little TOO aggressive for something like elk, at least at close range......Rich
