My first (and maybe only) custom

She started out as a mid-1980's Rem 700 ADL .270 Win with a 20" barrel and wood stock. I always felt I was leaving velocity on the table with that short barrel, although it was very convenient to carry. I finally took the plunge and decided to upgrade it. Particulars are:

24" Douglas Premium Barrel 1-8" twist rate (left it as .270)
Action trued and barrel mounted by Douglas
Action and barrel Cerakoted by Ruttin Camo in Christiansburg, VA
Magpul Hunter 700 stock
DIY camo job on stock
Timney 510 trigger
Bushnell Engage 4-16 44mm FFP IR scope

Now it's time to head to the range for break-in and load development.

Thanks. Kindergarten-level skill required. I highly recommend anyone try it. Super simple, and every on turns out different.
