According to this thread below the MK 248 MOD1 halted production in 2013. Some are still issued it to this day.

If someone where to have about 500 rds of MK 248 MOD1 what Do y'all suggest to do with it?

Pull bullets and lighten the load?

Yes. Send me your address I'll send you a hand full so you can see for yourself. It's split barrels over the years using it that's why most units are not using it.

I'm going 300 RUM soon. I think I'll pull bullets and H1000 and find someone that wants the primed brass.
