I have been thinking about my first build. I have a savage in 204. Can I re-barrel?To what caliber? I also have a Ruger M77 action. Can I re-barrel from 264you to 300wm?

The savage can be rebarreled to about any short action caliber although you might have to get a different bolt/face for the short magnums.

The .264wm is a great LR caliber already but if you want to move up to the 300wm that action will work fine.
