I think so… if you read the regulations it's not very clear.

Get a cva 450 bm. Slug guns are trash compared to these rifles. The 450 gets you the range and knock down power.
FWIW I grew up shooting slug guns and have a fine 1100 with paradox slug barrel and scope. There is NO comparison between the straight wall cartridges and slugs. Cost, trajectory, recoil....450 BM wins by a mile. I shoot the 45 raptor and its the cats meow. I have no love for the 350L.

I've been happy with 350 legend performance on deer and hog. 180 soft point

Not likely the top of any one else's list, and finding one could be problematic. We had great experiences with the .375 Winchester in a Ruger #3. These days I would look at something like the 137 Shock Hammer.

I see they make the CVA in a 444 Marlin. Anyone have experience with the 444? Recoil?
