How do these stack up?

Any experience with these scopes? I've got 3 burris ff II's, 1 vari-x III, 1 Grand Slam and lots more cheapo's. How do these compare?

Browning 4x12 or 5x15 (Are these still available anywhere). Basically a 3200 w/o rainguard

Swift premier 4-12x40 $165

Mueller apv 4-12x40 $125

Refurbished Nikon Buckmaster

or another another ffII.

One would be for my brother's savage sporter weight .243. He deer hunts 2-3 times per year and nothing over 250 yds. I think the mueller or possibly a Nikon prostaff would work for him.

I've got the cart before the horse. I am wanting to build a 6.5 mm something for deer hunting and paper out to 500-700 yds. Any opinions on these scopes for these uses.

I would go the Nikon with BDC for what you described. Best glass of those listed.

200 yard zero and first circle gives 300. 250 equals half way in between.
