Evening all asking for help… I'm thinning out the safe. I am trying to get a feel for what price a
Gilkes-Ross rifle is going for? 6Br single shot target rifle, adjustable cheek and lop.
Any help appreciated 😁 LP

More pertinent info, and pictures?

A buyer looking for a 6BR single shot knows exactly what they want. Give them the details, and they'll pay your price.

This is a a " replica " of an Anshutz stock with Mike Ross's tweaks. Anshutz trigger, breaks like glass, adjustable. Mike's partner ?Bob? Gilkes was the machinist for the body and 3 lug action surpassing the RPA 3 lug action. I shot some prone team matches with Mike back in the late 70's. I asked him about a repeating model.
He told me he'd repo the rifle if I blasfeemed again. Barrel change-there's a 8screw clamp at the action to remove / replace. Unscrew barrel, screw new one, head space it and go shoot.

Thanks a ton for the info. Having an Anshutz trigger on a 6BR must be a dream.
