Used the Rem 1 1/2 primers for the 38's with WC bullets when doing the PPC shooting, been a long time ago . Still have a box or two of them.

I suppose it was possible. If you read the other link provided. I believe they did mention some usage in the 357
I read that and that's why I replied the way I did. In 60 rounds there was about 1/3 that were faulty/blown/no-go.

I have some. But have not used them yet. I did mark them so I know to pay extra attention to them.
Jag primed cases or just primers?

I'm about the same. Different primers give me more options as the last thing I compare to finish tuning a load.
There is no ryme or reason to me. One rifle prefers one and a different one goes for another.
Some people tend to stay with what they thinks that works for them. It appears that he's beginning to looking around or getting out of the box and try something else.You've been reloading for 39 years and don't know the differences in primers
I have different types of primers, but mostly use Fed-210's.
The problem is now, we can't just go out and get any type of primers off the shelve or mail order them that we may want.
I just spent a 1 -1/2 yrs trying to be my hands on some Retunbo powder @ Midsouth. I only got 2#'s, but its enough for now. I haven't ever used it before. From what I have read about it, it has it's good and bad points.
