The is one of the best camo suits I ever saw. I can't hardly make you out sitting there.

Brown dog

What is the front thing and where can it be gotten. That is exactly what I need. Either that or I will have to build one of Roy's things.

My problem is in the pictues of my deer up in the hunting section you can see I am faced with a bd uphill shot. It is hard to get prone and shoot uphill so I need some kind of gizmo like the two of you have shown in order to shoot sitting down up the hill. It has to be packable for about a mile.

Oh and don't worry about people laughing at me. Not many get that far into the woods nowdays. All truck hunters.

Buffalobob,

You can them from Center Mass Inc:

http://www.centermassinc.com/638292.html ...or without

Unless things have changed there, I seem to remember that the company is run by a police officer in his off-duty time. What particularly impressed me is that his larger tactical rest is in use by some of UK's more ...er, 'specialist' forces and he makes no claims about that to talk his products up.

Hopefully the pic will come through OK. I've found that many times while setting up on a set of shooting sticks that the rifle will slide around or twist a bit while waiting for a shot...especially true if I'm using my binocs or working a call so I saw this modification and it really works.

This is how it looks when set up and waiting for the shot. All I need to do is control the butt to keep locked in.

Got to admit that it's wasn't my creation but it's too good a tecchnique not to pass on to others.
