What kind of gun were you shooting? I had tc encore do that, it was a weak hammer spring.

Same here. Mine was a Freedom Arms. 454.

Very interesting results. I loaded up fifty. Had the problem. Sent the gun to factory. When it came back I fired a cylinder full. I had to take it out to get the cases out. I checked them with the Oehler 33 and discovered they were 100 fps faster than before the new hammer spring.
