thoughts on this round for hunting elk at long range and what would be your bullet choice .just askingif you already have used it on elk how did you like the way it preformed

Overall, I've probably killed more deer at long(er) range with the Hornady 162 A-Max (now ELD-M) than any other bullet. That bullet is devasting on whitetails.
