7 PRC Advice needed

I have bought a7 PRC from a well known large $$$$ factory rifle maker.
I had to send it back because of chamber issues, the rifle never should have been shipped to begin with. I blamed Hornadys brass for the problem. Hornady, I'm sorry!
There were several spots of burrs in the chamber that caused difficulty in closing the chamber on new and once fired brass.
Work done per their armory was barrel removal, reamed again to smooth out imperfections, polish the chamber. Then check for function.
Ok, rifle has been returned to me. It's much smoother, no scaring on the brass from the burrs. BUT, its still stiffer to close than I'm used to on everything else I own. I know that there is really tight tolerance on these chamberings, is this something normal, or should it go back again?

Send it back. everybody is getting away with building JUNK. I got a similar issue with a high end barrel maker. I had fierce build me a gun a year ago and it was junk from one end to the other' this led me to build a gun and the barrel is junk. ever since THE CHINA VIRUS our county went to ****,

So does virgin ammo chamber okay and your 1st fired reloads chamber tight.

EDIT: is it a 3 lug reciever, does it have dual extractor buttons?

I am super disappointed with Fierce quality and customer service too.

I will tell everyone that asks about them to avoid them like the plague.

No a fierce CT Rogue. I'd loaded for a Fierce Rage in 6.5 PRC and it was great. That's why I got the Rogue. I haven't shot it sense I got it back, mounting the scope, ect. Bolt is smooth as silk until you put in a cartridge, bolt closes ok until you turn the bolt handle down and it takes a bit of pressure to close. None of any of rifle I've owned, ever had this unless there was a headspace issue. Its not really bad,but when you pay that kind of money you expect better.
Pretty sure a trip back to the GS is in order. They take it back or something of equal price is in trade.
I've had a better look at the brass I chambered, it still has the curved groove in it as before. I'm doubtful about what was done by them. This is crappie. Not what I wanted to say, but I don't want to be censored.

Worst thing is I owned three Christensen rifles, all three worked perfectly. Still have a carbon barrel Ridgeline in 7-08 that is my go to rifle for open country. Worst rep in the business, no problem. Something that was praised here on the forum?????

Two lug, 70 degree bolt. Twin ejectors. Same with factory, my once fired is same ,Virgin ADG brass is the same. I'm PO'ed.
It cuts a quarter circle groove from middle of the shoulder onto the body of the case. Its catching in the chamber and when you close the bolt it cuts the groove in the brass, that's what causes the hard to close bolt. Picture is not good, but I chambered this case many times so the groove could be seen. The lines coming from the shoulder are the issue. There's about a dozen of them on the ADG case.

Got a borescope? Sounds like the reamer didn't finish the shoulder well. Each time they reamed it. I don't imagine they would have used a different (new/re-sharpened) reamer and they are not inspecting the reamer or the finish they left in the chamber. Basic machining.

Yep, I've looked with the scope, you can see brass on a spot in the chamber. They supposedly removed the barrel and used a new reamer and then polished the chamber. I'm smelling cow patties.

We all screw up but when you are given a second you should go above and beyond but some companies just don't care. They will fall.

You are for sure if they claimed they used a fresh reamer and have the very same results. Sad!

This is the work sheetl. My bad they used a finishing reamer. How could they miss something like the burr that is causing the long grooves in the shoulder/body junction? Did the load and fire it.?
