308 barrel

I am looking to build a 308 for target shooting which barrel would you recommend and why?

Finding the most accurate barrel by brand is a crap shoot. There are many good cut rifled, buttoned and hammered bores available, all in the price range of plus or minus $300.

Many IBS shooters prefer cut rifled barrels by Bartlien, Krieger (my favorite), Brux, Rock Creek, etc. Check the for sale section and look at Len's discount on the Brux.

Lilja because IMHO and "my" personal experience, they simply shoot accurately and stays clean (3-groove) ... and I like supporting my Montana made products when all possible. :):D:cool:gun)
