(Savage 11 FCNS topped with SWFA 5-20x50 FFP HD) with 215 Berger at 425 yards.

Considering I missed the 1st 15 days of the general rifle season and 35+ MPH winds, I think I did OK with the prize.

Nice work FEENIX!! I'm jealous.
I just got done building a 300WSM. I gave it to my son as a present when he used it to shoot his mountain goat. I loved that gun so much I'm currently building another one.

I have a few questions. What load did you use for your 215 Bergers? I couldn't get 208 A-max to group well out of my 1-10 barrel. I'd like to try the 215 Bergers in this next 300WSM.
What brake did you install? I have a Vais for my new build but I'm not real fond of the dust a Vais kicks up.

Thanks! My load is 60g RL-17, 9 1/2M, WW brass, 2.197" CBTO (.080" off the lands, 2750 FPS MV.

The muzzle brake installed is Benchmark's tactical - mini (Benchmark Barrels - Muzzle Brakes)

FEENIX, did you recover that bullet or was it a pass through?

Negative! No pass through; it was a spine shot (shattered, and the top half of the lungs are souped up), but frankly I was not looking for the bullet ... perhaps I should have. I am surprise it did not pass through though but the deer was DRT nonetheless.
