84.8 ran 3021. Did not get a read on 85 but it had a slight ejector mark.

For the ignorant, please forgive me:

300 prc factory loads can be fired out of a 30sm chamber?

Where can I get a 30sm reamer?

30sm can accurately fire 245eol's @3000fps out of what twist barrel?

Would a 28" or 30" proof barrel be beneficial here?

This might be my dream 30cal!

Thanks Brice

Sorry did not realize it's the 30 Sherman mag

Unbelievable outstanding awesome

Sold my last 30 magnum 10 years ago. Don't own anything magnum at this point but when the 30 prc came out and I read up on it, I've been looking at every since! You guys are really fanning the flame with this thread. That group with the prc rockwallraider posted about seals the deal. Fortunately I have a 6 creed on order so I can think about this a bit.

Yes, you can fire factory prc factory ammo very accurately.
The longer barrels will help, to a point.
We need to test more with the 245's to find accuracy nodes but with a 30", I would not be at all surprised to find accuracy at 3000'.
A 9 twist will work well. Some folks are building 8 twist for very long bullets.
You can purchase Reamers, dies, and head stamped brass from my website at:
