Concerning 4350 and 200gr+ bullets
I have found with 180gr bullets 4350 will be at or slightly less than 100% load density. With 200 grain and above bullets you may want to try 4831 or even H1000/Retumbo to get the density up and therefore the velocity. 4350 will not fill the case behind a 200+ grain bullet.
56.5gr of 4350, Rem 9 1/2M primer, WW brass and Sierra 180gr GK produces 2930fps in my 27" custom M98. Now 27" is a long barrel but middle son's Rem 700 w/ 24" barrel turned up 2910fps. 2800fps should happen in most rifles. 80fps more (2800 - 2880) is not really significant.
I stay with 180gr Sierra's because of great all around performance in my rifle. But Berger 210's and 215's may prove to be the long range medicine that replaces them. If I can get +2700fps with them.....
