So I have a new 28 Nosler on the way. With the complete lack of Retunbo, IMR 8133, H1000 and N570 what would be an alternative powder folks are using?

A lot of guys on here have loads using R33, but talk about having to clean often being that it's a dirty burning powder. If you do a quick search there was a relatively long thread I read which has a lot of information in it.

These are the ones I got the most information from today and yesterday.

I bought a bunch of h1000 for loading my 338 norma a while back so I have quite a bit of that. But I'm kinda holding that as a last resort. It's really not my first choice to load in a 28nos but if I have to I guess I will.

Lots of guys like h1000 and 180 Bergers. They shot very well from mine. I had a ton of 195s is why I stuck with them

In my 28 Nosler, I tried H1000, Retumbo, 8133 and RE33. The most accurate for me is RE33 and will give you the velocity needed for the 195gr Berger's, I could never find N570 in stock to try.

I tried this N570 ladder. I switched after this.

ADG brass, cci, 143grHH, 87.5grNorma 217... .320 MOA. 3505 FPS. Work up to this! 88gr bolt stiff. Wish I could find some N570, I'm in Missoula MT
