Last fall I was working up a load for my .270 Win. I was using 130 accubonds with cci lrp rp brass and was up to 59 grs of RL19. Showed no real sign of pressure and shot real real well. Didn't chrono it. I was getting a little scared I was 2-3 grs over max. But I was really getting great groups. Has anyone worked a load for a .270 win and 130 gr bullets with Rl19 this hot and had great groups?

Hot loads may be equal to accuracy, ....but it is not equal to safe. It is better to be safe than to be "hot" and then sit without a hand, without eyes and without a gun. When you shoot a hot load in hot temperature it could go Ka Boom! Try a lower load that is safe.:D

I've worked up a load using VLD Bergers in 140 gr. IMR 4350/53gr and cci 200 primers. My 270 likes em. Don't know the speed, but drops deer like the hammer of Thor.
