270 Resurrection

The new 140 Sierra and 145 eldx work pretty well with the old 1/10 twist in front of rl26. You can find a good load in the 3150-3100 range, which is no slouch. I'm anxious to see the bc on that new 150 accubond and to hear whether or not it will work in a 10 twist or not.

The 145 ELDX with RL16 is a winner as well at 3050 out of 24" barrel, zero pressure, consistent ES-SD and very accurate even with 51 year old wood factory stock. Can push it a little harder but really no need for the application I am using it for right now. But this rifle will be rebarreled by end of year to take advantage of new bullet, powder releases.

I'm running both the 140 tipped gameking/gamechanger and the 130 sst both at 3140 and 3139 with Rl 26 My ES is 3 with both for 5 shots. The 130's I pushed to 3255 before I had a hard swipe but primers were flat from 3195ish up and it was in 30 degree weather. The 140's started going into the same hole at 200 at the same speed the 130s were shooting well so I did some seating and they both shoot at 3.335. I did a ladder with 145's ended up trading those for some other stuff. They went past 3180 without any issue but I never saw a flat spot in the speed.
