Mine is a non import marked HK PM13 with original box for $1650

Oh and a transferrable Maxim Mg/08 ww1 german belt fed machine gun that needed a few parts for $2500 bucks

About ten years ago at the tulsa wannamaker gun show. I was there on a buying trip for the gun shop I used to work at. A table there had a remington built, Springfield 03A4 with the original scope. They wanted $3000 for it and I should've pulled the trigger then. I have a soft spot for vintage military sniper rifles.

Ruger No 3 for $600.....was looking for another to rebarrel into 327 Federal Magnum.

When I was younger I went to a gun auction (a real auction, in person, no online stuff), decided I didn't really wanna part with my money that much but in hindsight I WAS A FOOL! there were many guns that sold for way more than they were worth and watching old men get into bidding wars where pride was on the line was funny as all get out…

But the one gun that for whatever reason no one in the room seemed to want THAT badly was a beautiful weatherby mark 5 in .270 weatherby magnum with decent walnut in new condition. Maybe because it was an oddball cartridge in these parts, maybe because it was too pretty and these were mostly farmers fighting over "tractor cannons" but that thing sold for 800 bucks Canadian I think (in 2012 I beleive). It would have been tight but I could have spent a little over that, should've seen if it could have been mine!
