Pickup some Berger 210 VLD's and get a bullet with a true & legit BC, so you don't get fooled.

Do a search on here, and one of our members did a BC test on the ABLR's...They didn't quite hold up to their advertised BC.

It's a good read, too. You shoukd check it out.

im shooting the berger 190 vld and its shooting 8-9 inch groups or less at 1000 yds..but i saw the 210 accubond LRs have a BC of .710???

Yeah, I understand, I just don't see how switching the tip color from white to gray can add that much to the BC... :D

I have had them on order for a few months with no success. I managed to get my hands on some of them late last year. I was veryimpressed with my initial results. Just substituted the 210 LRAB using my proven load for Berger 210 Hunting VLD's. Testing at 200 yards indicated ES, velocity, and accuracy was identical. I'm desperate to get my hands on more to do further testing at longer ranges.

I shot 210 ABLR's out of my 300 win mag last year and they were awful. I do think I got a bad box. I sent the remaining 40 bullets to another member here hoping he would report back on how that box shot out of his gun... but never heard back.

I talked to Nosler last year and they said they do their .308 210 ABLR run in January/february of every year. So unless that changes we won't see any until the beginning of next year.

I spoke to Nosler very recently and they stated that the next production run is schedule for June of this year. According to the person I spoke with, the supplies have been consumed as fast as they have been able to produce them.

Good to hear. I would like to get a new box from a new lot to try them out. I think they will be very good bullets and at least another alternative when we can't find the 210 Berger. It's too bad everything is so hard to find right now.

On a side note, I did contact Federal about when they'll be doing a run of GM215M primers, and they said their next production run is scheduled for September, to hit the shelves in October. At least good to know I don't have to waist my time looking for them throughout the summer.
