Which rifle route for long range?

I agree with what most or these guys say about it being difficult to find an accurate factory rifle. If you start with a Remington 700 heavy barrel or a Savage heavy barrel, you have better chances of getting a decent shooting rifle and have something to build off of. That being said, now days I buy factory rifles and the barrel gets pulled immediately.

My favorite do all rifle is my Tikka t3x 6.5cm or 260rem re-chambered to 6.5PRC with the bolt opened up to .52". I use a Berger 156g @2875fps that's great out 1000 yards running 1767 fps. Total cost $less than a grand. Expect sub moa!

What's your thought on remage barrels?

Remington 700 in 300 win mag. You will have to do I little work to it, ammo and components are plentiful and it's a tried and true proven cartridge with a lot of history behind it
Considering buying a used 700 and replacing barrel with a remage and new trigger. Thoughts?

So I'm sure this question has been asked more times than one can count.

So I want to use your guys knowledge versus my very little. I'm wanting to get a rifle for long range hunting (elk/deer) and also be good for target shooting. With that being said I don't need it to be the lightest gun on Earth. I want something accurate perferably sub 1/2moa. I'm considering 300 prc and 28 nosler but considering others. My main question is which route should I go bergara hmr pro, Remington 5r, savage w/ proof barrel, barreled action and build my own or rebarrel a Tikka, etc. What would you do to get a very accurate rifle without buying a $5000 custom.
I would buy

Personally...just me I'd look at the new Weatherby line in Accumark Pro or Elite series in either 6.5/300 or 30/378. They are awesome for the money and will really reach out and touch something....but...I'm a Weatherby fan...ton of fun for what you pay!

Remage is a solid system. You can do your own barrel changes so once your set up you can do another barrel for target shooting. 7saum or 300wsm on a Tikka would make you a great rifle and you can buy prefits. Shouldered prefits are just as easy to change than
a remage and uses the same tools. Remington Sendero in 300wm or 7mag would be a good option too.

I am by no means telling you what to do but if it were me I would buy a Remington action with correct bolt face have it trued and barreled install good trigger and order the stock of my choice good bedding job and you will have a rifle that will shoot and you should be in around 2500 to 3000 depending on your stock choice

What is the benefit of the sendero? I don't have much knowledge on them.

What's your thought on remage barrels?
I put a criterion remage varmint contour on a 700 short action. It shot with the bartleins I've owned & seems to shoot a bit better than my brux barrel. I put another criterion on a Savage and it shot equally good. Ive bore scoped new bartleins, brux, benchmark, Broughtons etc... The finish on the criterion looked just as good as the others mentioned. Twist was checked to be actually what it was supposed to be. I don't have any complaints with a remage set up.

Serious question, are you a 1/2 MOA trigger puller? Learning to be with a 300 PRC or similar is going to be very expensive.
Different strokes for different folks but I don't think a big 30 cal magnum is the best option to start out shooting for long range precision. I'm fairly recoil tolerant but recoil management comes into play regardless of how recoil tolerant a person is when shooting a big magnum 30 cal will a 230 gr bullet.
