Curious more than anything. I have a tentative NM Elk hunt planned and possibly a Maine Moose hunt as well and I'm considering not doing either because of the Corona Virus

Where are you at with it and is it impacting your hunting plans at all?

It appears to be ramping up quite a bit. Just got a missive from the Michigan DNR concerning it and how the state is addressing it over all. I believe I'll be driving as well if I hunt out west or in New England, but everything depends on the severity of the virus and how it impacts the locales I'll be hunting in. I'm not a youngster by any stretch. Most youngsters cannot afford to do what I do because they either have other priorities or aren't interested in hunting at all. Read that the virus impacts older folks more than young folks and that don't bode well for me at least.

Biology is my bag... and I hope to God that "they" have a handle on this thing by next fall. Of course it doesn't help when you have as many fools as we have throughout the world that continue traveling to places where they have been warned not to..... and then dragging the virus home with them. Even now where I live there are a fair number of people that have very recently returned from vacation in Italy....prime examples of Darwinism.
Tens

I normally am on a plane traveling every week for work and I just got grounded until at least the end of April, but I wouldnt be surprised if it gets extended. My wife and I were talking - we are both relatively young and healthy (30's) but the incubation period is like 10 days and if you come in contact with somebody who is at risk like an older parent or grandparent during that period, you would feel awful. It is definitely going to impact logistics. Will they have it locked down by this fall? Hopefully!

Scary part for sure. Without trying to come across like a smart arse, I really wish people would use their heads except for something to space their ears apart with....

I think that people read way too much into what the media tells them instead of using common sense.

Hopefully, this virus is on the 'back burner' by fall but as of now, it certainly isn't.
