  • Just wanted to say it was nice talking to o dude. I always learn something new when I converse with you "old timers"......lol
I had them pillar bed the action, install one of their large diameter barrels and their adjustable gas block (old style allen screw adjuistment) as well as retain the stock Ruger adjustable harmonic balancer on the end of the barrel. They have a new style now (gas block) that adjusts with a thumbscrew (much easier), The stock ejection is way too hard and it dents cases. The modified ejection can be set to single fire if you want, but I toss the cases into an E&L Manufacturing case catcher.

I was very happy with their work, no issies whatsoever and they are now Ruger Factory Certified. My mini is a tack driver. Lot different than the stock rifle. I did the trigger myself. All the stock trigger needs is a bit of stoning to brekl the radius on the sear.

I recommend them. Matter of fact, you should find a note of recommendation from me on their website. Was a couple years nago I had it done.
Hi, I've got a question for you if you don't mind. I saw you post that you had a mini-14 done up by Accuracy Systems in CO. I was just curious what you had done to it? I have a mini-14 and have been looking to send it to Accuracy Systems for awhile now but don't know anyone that actually had work done there. What were the specs on your rifle? Thanks!
