I carry my G7 on the lower body strap of my Bino harness. It rides right next to my small Binos. I use a case from Gunwerks for it. I keep it on a retractable lanyard so if I need to let go of it quick it stays on me.
The company FHFGEAR makes some nice cases for range finders.

Sig rangefinder, EL 10x42's. Never go hunting with out it. Bow or rifle. This is the one that I use. I did tie the Sig to a tether and it's attached to the case. I can drop it if needed and not lose it..

I use a neck strap just to avoid dropping it. I slip in in one of my shirt or jacket pockets to protect it and to keep it from swinging around while hiking.

My solution is to have 10 x 42 rangefinding binoculars.
One item to carry and manipulate, not two.
And to keep things light I use a binocular harness but no case.

I found no need for rangefinder for my scope has the capability of letting me know the distance. When you are out sighting in or practicing, I use the crosshairs on my scope to determine the distance. By adjusting the power of the scope to various targets, I am able to sight-in on say 100 yards; adjust your scope so the target fits into the brackets of the crosshairs. Use this power when you see your game and bingo. Pull the trigger.

I've got you all beat... I've got an 11 year old that runs my sig rangefinder for me... He has it on a strap around his neck but it's usually in his hands... Those odd little creatures can be useful at times.

No, the bino pouch is usually just big enough for binoculars. I have the 10x50 size pouch but I have 10x50 binos. You'd have to find a pouch that you can weave onto the chest rig since it probably won't fit the range finder pouch it comes with

I've built 2 cases out of kydex. One fits bino harness in rifle season the other attaches to the belt.
I put an extra compartment in both to fit a pocket warmer in them. I've found pocket warmers do the trick in the cold to keep them warm and working.

I am gonna say this....with no offense intended: In today's market place one can buy pretty good Binos that include a rangefinder built in for about the same amount of money as buying the same quality as separate pieces. It is more convenient and really simplifies things.

I agree, but I like my stuff. I'd rather use it than give it away..or sell it cheap just to get new...
No arguement from me on that.....But if someone has the opportunity to "need" new stuff....today's products are amazing.
