What constitutes “inherently accurate “?

The 6br and variants are inherently accurate. It's pretty undeniable. Look at the benchrest cartridges racking up wins and records. It's sad but cartridges like the 6.5x284 is all but dead in 1000 yrd
Benchrest competitions. The 6 dashers and 6bra s Are the way to go. And it can't be dismissed as a fad since they broke the hell outa the previous records. Look at 100 and 200 meter competitions. The 6ppc has ruled the ranges for years. It's just inherently accurate.
No they aren't... There is no such thing as "inherent accuracy"... There are just better designs.

Better designs that make them inherently more accurate

For me that terms implies that no load development is required, when in reality all rifles and cartridges require it to get the most accuracy possible. Unless 2" or 3" groups are ok at a 100 yards then maybe some cartridges would be.

I think Figjam hit the nail on the head with some rifles being inherently accurate and not the cartridge itself.

There is one exception, the 6.5 Creedmoor ;)

Still disagree. Why do you not see anything but 6br variants at national benchrest competitions??? There
Are Borden Stiller and a crap ton of bat actions. There are bartlein Kriegers rock creek and lederer barrels, a lot of them smithed by different outstanding smiths. So they are all different rifles. Even the scopes vary greatly. The only thing common about these precision rifles is the chamberings. So to say the 6br family of cases isn't inherently accurate is just wrong. No one shoots the 308 anymore for decent reason even though in its day it was an awesome benchrest cartridge. Today we have cartridges that are specifically designed from the beginning to be more accurate than its predecessor, which makes it inherently accurate. The 6br family of rounds are
Meant to deliver great paper punching accuracy, not to bring down an elk and 750 yards.

I understand what you are saying, I just have a different point of view. Again, all cartridges still require some load development. Now, some of the 6br cartridges are very accurate but because of the quality barrels made for them, if it wasn't for those hogh quality barrells they provably won't shoot as good.

We just have different opinions, heck we both might be wrong.

No...Simply...No. Barrels and rifles are accurate, cartridges cannot be. And even then, nothing about them is "inherent"...It all requires work and development to cohesively function as a whole unit to produce what we call "accuracy". This also involves the shooter's ability. Because without the barrel and the rest of the rifle, the cartridge won't do anything. ;)
