Bumpstocks banned

Well over the years they have delivered very favorably for our 2nd amendment rights in many hard fought court cases, AND, what other organization has?
Were not talking about a gun issue here, were talking about an attachment that turns a gun into something it wasent intended to be.
It doesn't turn a gun into something it wasn't intended to be. That's bullcrap and you know it. It simulates, very poorly might I add, it does NOT turn it into a machine gun. I KNOW what a machine gun is... I used to work for a Class II 07 SOT, and I've shot lots of them, worked around them, worked with them. A bumpstock in NO way, shape, or form, turns a semi-auto rifle into a machine gun. That's about as stupid as saying "only assassins and criminals use suppressors". That's just a completely false and unrealistic brainwashed point of view that hollyweird and the mainstream media have fed you.

Actually, the GOA has done more to fight anti-gun legislation in the last few years than the NRA has done in the last 100.

The last movie I went to was Forrest Gump,
and I haven't watched TV news for 10 years.
Fact is I don't even have a TV.
Having spent quite a few years in an Ordnance company in small arms repair, I am very familiar with what they sound like. At least those of the WW2 vintage, and I can tell you they could fool me, and im sure others as well.
Im curious as to how many hard core gun owners support GOA?

Latest numbers is 1.2 million. GOA only has 15 people running it though. It's no frills. They were disgruntled workers from the NRA who left because they thought the NRA wasn't doing enough.

Have you ever tried to accurately aim/shoot a gun, while constantly pulling it off your shoulder as it's being pushed back into your shoulder, while standing? There is absolutely no way ANYONE (even a professional) was hitting people at 300 meters away with bumpstocks on AR15's, especially AR10's in .308 Winchester (like in the pictures they showed). On top of that, bumpstocks are not as consistent as a true M16/M4. With a REAL M16, there is no gapping or inconsistent rate of fire, it's either running, or it's not, you control that with the pull of a trigger. You can at least get some better accuracy out of a true machine gun, compared to something that was designed strictly as a novelty item used for mag-dumps, that's not meant to be shot accurately. A bumpstock is not a machine gun, it does not turn a semi-auto into a machine gun. It turns it into an inaccurate, $10 bill dumping, pile of junk...Until you remove it, and put a normal stock back on it.

It's not what it is, it's what it isn't, that the media and everyone else is making it out to be. It's their scapegoat for their anti-gun agenda (Vegas, Sandy Hook, Broward County false flags) to get us to willingly give up our own rights in the name of safety. And it's pure evil that drives the liberal/democrat agenda. If it was legit, that would be one thing, but anyone with any sort of a moral compass and a sense of the world around them can see that it was a setup, and can smell the bullcrap from a mile away.

Not arguing any of the technical part you say, but if all that is true, why then all the fuss about giving them up?
Fact is, it is the closest thing average Joe can get to owning a full auto weapon, and thats the issue we are all supposed to agree on as being a constitutional right. Don't count on being out of the woods as for the supreme court. I think Roberts has shown some cause for concern, and the 2 most recent are as yet untested.

It has been standard operating procedure for anti gun enthusiasts is to take EVERYTHING away with total disregard for anything but achieving devolving the 2nd Amendment!! That's why!! Radical, left wing extremists!! I couldn't care less about bump stocks, nor do many; however, the 2nd amendment is a different story. That's why!!

Well there will always be that in every organization.
The boss is always a boob in the eyes of many, as a long time voting member, I well remember some of that from the ranks of the NRA. Lets also not forget the cookie jar, and just how much of a roll that plays in all that.

What makes you think it's only the second amendment they are after?
When they come my friend, they will be coming for all of it. The voices like Limbaugh and sites like this will be the first to go, and the rest will then become easier. They well know that, which is why for my entire long life they have been so patient.
The boarder issue holds the key to lock the door and take it all away. One more key state, like Texas,
or Florida, will seal the deal forever.
They are not at all concerned over bump stocks, and how many murders take place in Chicago.
All they need is the votes, then nothing else matters.

With this and the prison reform bill, the Dems have a better ally than they've had for awhile. Sad their too dumb to realize it.
Not even to mention the administrations statement that they will kill the death penalty. Would have to be a prison guard. We need the Death Penalty expanded immediately for this killing a cop.

You people haven't read a **** thing we've posted... For the 500 BILLIONTH TIME!!! It's not about the bumpstocks!!!

It's how he went about banning them that ****es us off! He unilaterally changed a LEGAL definition that was decided upon by Congress, by himself, and gave the BATFE the authority to write legislation. That is not how our government is setup to work. There are channels these things have to go through, and they have to be voted on. He is not a dictator that is writing laws on a whim. Also, the definition change wording leads us down a VERY slippery slope to possible more banning and confiscation in the future of other items, like aftermarket triggers with a lighter trigger pull.

They're after the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 14th... And if this bumpstock ban is enacted, all of them will be ****ed on by our own tyrannical government overstepping its boundaries and inflicting its unconstitutional will on the people through force.

At which point, it is our DUTY as Americans to stand up and fight against tyranny.

Our prison system is a joke. If you're found guilty of a crime with undeniable proof, and sentenced to the death penalty, then you should be taken immediately to the gallows or a firing squad.

Well at first glance, this sounds like a good idea.
But lets not forget what we are seeing played out right now by our esteemed top law enforcement officials, and what we have learned as a result.
Every person is at least entitled to a "fair trial".
Cops on the ground seem to do a pretty fair job of denying a trial to a lot of the more serious offenders.
