Impressive. That seems crazy fast. But I believe it.

I have a 32" .257 bore bartlein barrel I'm planning to turn into some monster quarter bore…should be fast regardless, presently is chambered in .25-06 AI, might just leave it alone too.

Yep 28" hart barrel with 90gr absolute over 4350 if memory serves me on the powder. This one always had some speed and the absolute hammers really make good speed.

H4350 was ALMOST as good as rl17 in my 257 with 75s. It did behave as if it were a bit slower burning, def not surprised it was the powder of choice for 90s out of a longer pipe.

H380 and H4831 both have perfectly acceptable results. H380 a bit faster than ideal, pressured out before reaching the same velocity. H4831 a bit slower than ideal.

Going to try something a little different this year. Swapped back to a factory stock on my ruger american, milled down the stock and installed an arca rail.

Calling for rain on my first rifle hunt on Friday. It's 83 degrees and windy today. Should cool off though. Rain = 308win for me. I was shocked to see a buck chasing a doe in the wood line behind the house 30 minutes ago. I guess the hot weather doesn't completely shut down their rut.
