giving the recent BS started on another thread i decided to bring some lightness to this sub category on our great forum :D

A year or two back this thread was done and it was kinda fun and informative so lets try it again on the new page and with our new members

SO WHAT IS YOUR PREFERRED KIND OF MUSIC????????????

Me personally being from OK i obviously like country music but not to much of the new stuff. Brad Paisley is pretty mean on the guitar but thats about it from new guys. Im a huge fan of the old George Strait and Alan Jackson stuff as well as my fellow okie Haggard.

Mostly now as far as country goes it is Red Dirt Country, Jason Boland, Reckless Kelly, Cross Canadian ragweed

Along the same lines is Skynrd and such, cant leave them out

Mostly I like rock, old Metallica (new stuff is lacking), breaking benjamin, disturbed, etc.......

what are you all listin too before you step out of that pickup for big hunt???

Elvis, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Patsy Cline, Jimmy Buffet, Hank Williams and jr., Righteous Brothers, Beatles, Heart, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, America, The Guess Who, Foghat, Kansas, Steppenwolf, CCR, Charlie Daniels, Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, Roy Orbison, Jim Croce, Elton John, well most all of them from the late 50's,60's and 70's. Really just haven't kept up with it since. I like music and not a series of grunts, moans and thumps. At least C&W still plays some music.

I like pretty much anything from George Strait to Led Zeppelin to old school rap. The "new" country type music really isn't my favorite stuff though.

I am just an old rocker for the most part. Or maybe just old.....Sprinkle in a little country once in awhile. Everything from Hank Jr to Led Zeppelin.

But, to keep the hunting "theme". If you just put on a little Fred Bear by Ted N., crank it up to whatever level you can stand and enjoy.

It depends on what I'm doing , it ranges from clasical like Beethoven , Chopin and Tchaikosky when I'm kicking back reading of reloading to Drowning Pool , LimpBizkit and realy hard stuff like that when I'm weight training or fighting , in either case most folks ask what the hell i'm listening to

I do listen to alot of the older 60's and 70's rock , some country and so on when I'm driving to and from work. A few of my buddies still go out now and then wioth the wives if their a good jazz or swing band in town to dance..

BB, We saw ND in concert maybe 5 years ago. One of the best cons=certs I have ever seen.

20 years ago when we took our kids on many cross country vacations, Neil always traveled with us.

I love Classic rock, hard rock, and classical.
I can tolerate anything inbetween except that corny, country, alimony-whining, goat ropin' stuff and the we don't even need to talk hip hop 'cause it's just noise.
